How it works
Upload
Drop a photo on the page, choose a file or paste it. JPG, PNG, WebP or HEIC up to 20 MB — it stays on your device.
Split
Pick 1×3, 2×3 or 3×3, drag and zoom to frame it, then check the seams in the reassembled preview.
Post in order
Download all tiles as a ZIP and upload tiktok-banner-1.png first, then 2 and 3. See how to post a banner on TikTok.
TikTok banner size chart
Every tile is 1080 px wide and shown as 3:4 in the profile grid, so a three-post TikTok banner starts from a 3240 × 1440 image.
| Layout | Full image | Each post | Use it for |
|---|---|---|---|
| Single banner 1×3 (default) | 3240 × 1440 | 1080 × 1440 | Three posts across your top row |
| 2×3 grid | 3240 × 2880 | 1080 × 1440 | Two rows, six posts |
| 3×3 grid | 3240 × 4320 | 1080 × 1440 | A nine-post mural |
| Full-screen vertical | 3240 × 1920 | 1080 × 1920 | Posts that also fill the screen when opened |
These are the recommended sizes this tool splits to. Before you post, check them against TikTok's current upload screen.

Why BannerSplitter
Most banner splitters stop at cutting. This one also shows you the banner put back together, so you know it lines up before you post a TikTok banner.
Seam check and reassembled preview
See the tiles re-joined edge to edge and get a warning when text or a face sits on a cut line or under TikTok's labels.
Exact pixels, visual size chart
Every tile comes out at 1080 × 1440 (or 1080 × 1920 full-screen), matching the size chart above.
Nothing leaves your device
Splitting runs in your browser. Your photo is never uploaded, stored or seen by anyone.
One ZIP, standard names
All tiles in one download, named tiktok-banner-1.png, -2, -3 — no saving three files one by one.
Posting order you can't get wrong
A 1 · 2 · 3 strip shows the upload order, so your banner never comes out mirrored.
HEIC straight from iPhone
Open iPhone photos directly in Safari — no converting to JPG first.

Launch a product, merch or a new series with one picture that greets every profile visitor.

FAQ
What size is a TikTok banner?
Start from a 3240 × 1440 px image and split it into three 1080 × 1440 posts. The profile grid shows each post as 3:4, so these tiles line up exactly. The TikTok banner size guide covers grids and safe zones.
How do I split a picture into 3 TikTok banners?
Upload the picture above, keep the 1×3 layout and frame it. Then download the ZIP: it holds three numbered tiles ready to post. No account is needed.
How do I post them in the right order?
Upload tiktok-banner-1.png first, then 2, then 3. TikTok shows the newest post first, so number 1 is the right-hand tile and ends up on the right. Pin all three in the same order to keep the banner on top.
Does it work on iPhone?
Yes. In Safari on iPhone you can open photos straight from your library, HEIC included, and save the tiles to Files or Photos. It works on Android in Chrome too.
Is it really free?
Yes. Splitting, all layouts and the ZIP download are free, with no watermark and no limit on how often you use it.
Do you upload my photo?
No. Your photo is read and cut by your own browser and never sent to a server. Closing the page removes it.
Why do my banners look misaligned?
Usually the tiles went up in the wrong order, or something else was posted in between. Text that crosses a cut can also look broken — the seam check warns you about that before you download.
Can I split into 2×3 or 3×3?
Yes. Choose 2×3 for six posts or 3×3 for nine. Only three posts can be pinned, so a bigger grid shifts when you post something new.
Do I need an account?
No. There is no sign-up and nothing to install. Open the page, split your image and download.
Can I use this for Instagram?
Yes. Instagram's profile grid also uses 3:4 tiles in rows of three, so the same tiles work there. Post them in the same number order.
